What could possibly go wrong?

Christopher A. Reed, 28, of Lancaster, was charged with discharging a firearm in the city limits, and was issued a summons to appear in Fairfield County Municipal Court on Tuesday, according to the police incident report.

Reed told police that he was holding his rifle outside the recruitment center when someone asked if he could take a look at it. Reed agreed, and while he was trying to clear the ammunition from the weapon, he accidentally fired one shot into the asphalt pavement.

Nevr mind failing Gun Safety 101 by discharging a weapon he was trying to clear (and its not the first time its happened to him either) but how is he supposed to "protect" the recruiting center after surrendering his weapon to someone who wanted to "see" it?

Coded Message?

Scott Walker is starting to take some heat because his campaign logo appears to be exactly the same as the logo for America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses.

I however, think Walker's logo looks more like a stylized Confederate flag, rather than a stylized U.S. flag, although the similarity to America's best logo is striking as well.

Probably a bit of a stretch, but the wide bars just evoke the rebel standard to me.
