It seems that I cannot post comments to my own posts from my laptop, at least not with this wireless connection. So if you do not get a response to a query in comments, its not that I'm being rude, I just am unable to post a reply.
There's an interesting interactive map that shows where in the nation tweets of a hateful nature (racist/homophopic) orginate.
What struck me was how free from hate tweets Pittsburgh/Allegheny County is. While I'd like to think its because we're more tolerant here, I fear that may not be the case. I've seen, read and heard plenty of hateful comments from my fellow 'burghers. I think the lack of hate tweets just shows that we don't know how to use Twitter.
I was checking out the NYT online today, and I see this little pop-up:
Beginning in April, visitors to NYTimes.com will have access to 10 free articles per month instead of 20.
Well, there's a sure-fire way to get even fewer people to visit your site and see any ads that are displayed. I have to wonder if if the Times even remotely understands how the 'tubes and hyperlinking works.
